On Thursday morning, May 5, 2005, GFDI computers switched to new IP addresses. This caused some downtime for computers and services as they were modified to work under the new addresses.

Everything should be back to working at this time.

Part of the switch involved the implimentation of a automated homedirectory system for linux machines. This is the first step in providing easy, single login access to all your files.

Please expect windows machines to change in the next day or so to a login based use policy.
