Fluid dynamics deals with the movement of continuous materials driven by pressure and various forces, and

reacting according to various friction/stress laws.

Geophysical phenomena include explosive (e.g. volcanoes), pressure/sound waves, multi-phase etc,

on scales from less than mm's to planetary(and beyond in Astrophysical FD)
